MotorOne staff get together to support Daffodil Day
On Friday 25 August, the MotorOne staff around the country along with our dealership partners worked together to raise funds for Cancer Council Australia. As part of the Daffodil Day campaign, we had official merchandise for purchase where 100% of the proceeds would go to Cancer Council Australia, for research, education and patient support services. Also, at our Head Office, we hosted a morning tea to raise funds.
A shout out to Chatham Food Store for donating the catering for the event - their generosity was wonderful and showed their support of this worthy cause. Thank you also to everyone who purchase a lapel pin or pen - you're helping to raise funds for those living with Cancer, as well as raising awareness.
Take a look at our Facebook page for photos from the morning tea >

Now that’s community spirit!
QLD team pledge to 'Pink Up' for Breast Cancer
We are extremely proud of our QLD office who have recently taken the step to become a Corporate Supporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The team have pledged to work in conjunction with the NBCF to raise much needed funds for breast cancer research - from understanding the fundamental basis of the disease to psychosocial research aimed at improving the quality of life for survivors.
Have you been affected by Breast Cancer? Or know someone who has? Please join us in helping to raise funds for further research, and also to help those affected feel supported through their battle. We’re attempting to raise $30K, and if we do, our State Manager Steve will ‘pink up’ for 30 days to show his commitment to the cause. No matter what your donation, we say THANK YOU! Click here to donate today!

SA are helping out our furry friends
Our team over in South Australia have a tendency to support our furry friends, and recently supported a fantastic organisation called Moorook Animal Shelter. Moorook is a non-profit, non-kill animal organisation and have been re-homing unwanted dogs and cats since 1999. They don't discriminate, providing a second chance for all ages, gender, breeds, colours and sizes - after all, every dog and cat deserves to find a loving home. Their shelter has made such a difference for so many unwanted dogs and cats in their local area.
VIC support the local footy & netball community
MotorOne VIC are proud to hold the title of 2014 Platinum Sponsor of the Lismore Derrinallum Football & Netball Club. Our General Manager, Greg Lewis, grew up in the Lismore area and has close ties with this incredible country Football & Netball Club. The club not only provides fantastic sporting opportunities to the area, but they also run some great community initiatives. Go team!
Our NSW team are pulling together to make a difference
Each month our team up in NSW choose a different local charity group to donate money to. They feel that by selecting a smaller, local charity group they can really help to make a difference in their community.
One of the charities they've donated to is Manning Valley Can Assist. Can Assist provides accommodation, financial assistance and practical support services to country people in rural and regional NSW affected by cancer. They ensure that country people are given the same opportunities and choices about the kind of treatment they received as people in city centres.
